Resort

Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is a Gunflint Trail Resort located at the end of the Trail adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Voyageur Canoe Outfitters offers a variety of lodging choices for your stay depending upon the type of accommodation you would like. Our Riverside Cabin is a two-bedroom fully modern cabin right on the bank of the Seagull River. Paddler and Angler are one-bedroom lodge hideaways with a full kitchen, and a whirlpool bathtub in the loft. Bear Black Cabin is a rustic cabin set back in the woods on a piece of our property only accessible by boat or canoe. Water's Edge Cabin is located one-half of a mile from Voyageur on Saganaga Lake.

All of our lodging accommodations come complete with linens, towels, and major appliances. A canoe is included for your use during your stay at Voyageur. Prices quoted are for up to 4 people and each additional person requires a per night additional fee of $22.00. Smoking is allowed outdoors only and pets are welcome for a fee of $22.00 per day but must be quiet, friendly, well behaved and leashed while outdoors. We have bunkhouses available for the night before your canoe trip or for a bunkhouse stay when minimal ammenities are required.

There are many activities to participate in while staying at Voyageur Canoe Outfitters. Fishing on Saganaga Lake or Northern Light Lake with a boat and motor is a favorite of many of our guests. Hiking and biking the trails and forest service roads is a great way to experience the Superior National Forest. A day trip into the Boundary Waters is a wonderful adventure and there are many options to choose from. There are many different types of birds and wildlife to view while staying at Voyageur too.

Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is open in the winter and is a wonderful place to stay to explore the winter wonderland. There are the silent sports of winter like snowshoeing, lake cross-country skiing and ice fishing or the not-so quiet activity of snowmobiling. You can do it all while staying at Voyageur.
